I'm Going to Greensboro!

In June, 2016 I applied to compete in the 2016, North American Body Art Championships. It was worth the shot I thought, after all I've been painting bodies for about six years and I absolutely love it. I actually assisted an emerging artist in the Atlanta competition in 2015 but was really on the fence about ever competing myself. After some serious thought and a little encouragement form several close friends and family I decided to apply. Imagine my excitement when I received an email from Co-founder and Director, Madelyn Greco notifying me of my acceptance. I'm Going to Greensboro!

It's top secret, and I am not willing to share it with anyone who doesn't sign an agreement to pay me a million dollars! I'm just joking of course; in truth, it's kind of hard to describe my creative process because it is constantly changing. When I was a child I would get crayons and draw the same picture over and over again; until everything looked exactly as it did in my head. It was usually a drawing of my family with big round heads, no necks and twigs for extremities. There was a house with a door and four windows, a tree right next to it and a giant rainbow hovering over us.
